![]() The Catalina was formerly named Avid Amphibian. Designed by Dean Wilson, the original prototype was powered by an air-cooled engine, but was changed for the Rotax 582. The sponsons contain the main wheels as well as providing a step, and the drooped wingtip have built-in floats. ![]() Engine: Rotax 582, 65 hp.
