The FIAT G.2 'Espaguetti' (Spaghetti) was unique, being the only one built. Mussolini's son flew it before VARIG acquired the aircraft. VARIG's pilots hated it because the throttles operated in the opposite direction to every other airplane, that is, to add power one had to pull back on the throttles.
